NRF Clinical Practice Guidelines

NRF’s Clinical Practice Guidelines (NRF-CPGs or Hotus-hoitosuositukset® in Finnish) are evidence-based recommendations developed by experts for nursing and other healthcare professionals regarding practices and procedures in the social welfare and healthcare sector. While the Clinical Practice Guidelines are primarily focused on nursing, they can also be applied more broadly across various social and healthcare settings.

The guidelines are based on evidence compiled primarily from systematically selected and critically appraised studies and expert statements and present recommendations to guide the work of social and healthcare professionals in Finland.

Editorial board for NRF’s Clinical Practice Guidelines: Hannele Siltanen, Mira Palonen and Kristiina Heikkilä.
