Nursing Research Foundation

We are officially called Nursing Research Foundation sr, (NRF) in English – in Finnish: Hoitotyön tutkimussäätiö sr (Hotus).

NRF is a national, non-profit research and development organization.

Welcome to NRF’s pages!

NRF promotes effectiveness of nursing by developing evidence-based practices (EBP) in accordance with national and international policies. NRF coordinates the development of national clinical guidelines for nursing.

The Nursing Research Foundation hosts two international collaboration centres:

WHO Collaborating Centre for Nursing – since 1978.

The Finnish Centre for Evidence-Based Health Care: A JBI Centre of Excellence – since 2010.
